-Raise your hand and wait to be recognized.
- Stay Safe
* Staying Safe looks like this:
-Keep your hands and feet to yourself.

- Help Others
*Helping others looks like this:

Rewards for choosing to follow the rules:
Rewards will be given to students for following the rules. They will receive tickets for following the rules and doing a great job! They will put tickets into a bucket for their chance to win a reward! Verbal praise, individual privileges, and good calls and notes home will also be used. The class will also be working toward a class reward. Each day that all cards stay in the Safety Zone, students will flip a letter on our reward word. When all of the letters are flipped to spell a word, they will receive a class reward! It is important to WORK TOGETHER!
Consequences for choosing to NOT follow the rules:
Students will move their cards between different zones. The zones are as follows: Safety, Warning, Consequence 1 (recess restriction - students will still have recess, but will be restricted from a certain area/activity), and Consequence 2 (lunch detention - students will sit at a separate table). In the Consequence 2 Zone, the students will also fill out a form with which rules were broken and how they could change their behavior for next time. This paper will be sent home for parents to sign. Parents may also be contacted by phone. The principal may also be involved if needed.
